Randy Orton Wrestles at WWE Live Event, Another Low Blow For AJ Styles in His First Title Defense

As noted, Randy Orton was pulled from Sunday’s WWE Backlash pay-per-view because he has not been cleared to return to the ring following his TKO loss to Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam last month.

Randy Orton wrestled in a tag team match last night at the WWE Live event in Fairfax, VA. Orton tagged with Cena to take on The Wyatt Family.

According to the report Orton did not take any bumps during the bout. He simply waited for the hot tag from Cena, hit the RKO and that was the end of the match. The move to have Orton wrestle the day after Backlash where he was pulled for concussion related issues is more than a little surprising.

In the same show, WWE World Champion AJ Styles defeated Dean Ambrose after a low blow and Styles Clash. Here are some photos:
