Kevin Owens Defending Title in Triple Threat, American Alpha – Michael Cole Interview

– American Alpha are the guests on this week’s sit down interview with Michael Cole, and below are some highlights.

Cole brings up Chad Gable on the difference between the Olympics and WWE, and Gable says the crowd is a huge difference. Gable says you have to use the crowd in WWE, whereas in the Olympics you can’t allow the crowd to affect you.

Cole then talks Jason Jordan not quite clicking in NXT until he teamed up with Chad Gable, and Jordan says the two of them have a natural chemistry and he can relate to Gable as a brother. Jordan added he can be himself with Gable, and that’s what has allowed him to become who is now in WWE.

On winning the NXT tag team titles at Takeover, Gable said he came up short in the Olympics, and it was very difficult for him. But he added there was still fire in him following the Olympics. Jordan noted he also came up short in his NCAA career, and he had the same feeling of still having a fire. So at Takeover Dallas, they had their chance to win on the big stage, and that’s why it was so emotional.

Kevin Owens will be defending his WWE Universal Title for the first time next week at WWE’s live event at The O2 Arena in London. Owens will be defending the title in a Triple Threat match against Seth Rollins and Sami Zayn.
