– UFC President Dana White acknowledged that CM Punk’s second MMA fight probably should not happen in the Octagon. After last night’s first round submission loss to Mickey Gall at UFC 203, Punk said he’s looking to fight again but White commented to John Pollock of The Fight Network that UFC is a tough place to learn, as he also told Brock Lesnar. White says he became friends with Punk and has a lot of respect for him, but CM Punk probably shouldn’t have his next fight in the UFC.
– In the video below, UFC Featherweight Champion Conor McGregor talks with TMZ Sports about Punk’s debut. Conor has taken several shots at pro wrestlers over the past month but had props for the former WWE Champion. McGregor says Punk is not a “p—y” and that he earned his respect. McGregor says Punk got his ass whooped by Gall and took it like a man.
