– As noted, Simon Gotch was apparently pulled from this road this weekend as he worked no WWE live events following the backstage fight with Sin Cara at last Tuesday’s SmackDown.
The fight was said to be one-sided with Gotch getting destroyed. In an update, PWInsider reports that Gotch is not scheduled for this week’s TV tapings but is scheduled to be back on the road next week.
– The WWE App has a new Android and iOS update that includes live match result notifications for pay-per-view events and featured matches from RAW and SmackDown. The feature can be enabled in the new “Show Results” category on the “My Notifications” menu.
– TMZ has an article about WWE Hall of Famer Tammy “Sunny” Sytch wanting to fix her nose, which she’s broken 9 times. Sunny told TMZ she had surgery years back to repair her nose after the third break but now it’s worse than ever. She’s reached out to producers of the “Botched” reality TV show in hopes that they can help her. Sunny said her nose is so bad that she has nasty scar tissue buildup that has caused “weird bumps” to form on the bridge of her nose. Sunny added that she has belly issues after having surgery for cervical cancer and that liposuction would help her get her ideal bikini body back.
