– We noted before via The Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Paul Heyman’s WWE contract has expired.
Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that Heyman is still expected to be with Brock Lesnar at WWE SummerSlam for the match against Randy Orton next month.
While Heyman is not under contract right now, there was no falling out between he and WWE – the contract just expired and there was no rush to get it re-signed, perhaps because of Heyman wanting to focus on other commitments.
– Coming out of the WWE Draft, below are WWE Superstars that are still without a brand, according to WWE’s website:
* Brie Bella (“unofficially” retired)
* The Rock
* Emma (out with injury)
* Heath Slater (“forgotten in the Draft” storyline)
* Luke Harper (out with injury)
* Nikki Bella (out with injury)
* Paul Heyman (not drafted with Brock Lesnar, contract has reportedly expired)
* Rosa Mendes (still out after giving birth earlier this year)
* Ryback (at home due to a contract dispute, expiring this fall)
* Tamina Snuka (out with injury)
* Triple H
* Tyson Kidd (out with injury)
