– The WWE Title is now exclusive to SmackDown after champion Dean Ambrose retained in the main event of tonight’s WWE Battleground pay-per-view, over RAW Superstars Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns. Ambrose pinned Reigns to win the match. It will be interesting to see how WWE gets to announcing a new title for RAW.
– WWE announced 15,109 fans in attendance at the sold out Verizon Center for tonight’s WWE Battleground pay-per-view. It’s no secret that WWE regularly inflates the announced number by several thousand.
– As noted, Mojo Rawley made his official main roster debut at Battleground after being drafted to SmackDown last week. Mojo made the save for “Hype Bros.” partner Zack Ryder after Ryder’s loss to WWE United States Champion Rusev. He tweeted the following after debuting on the main roster:
I Don’t Get Hyped….. I #STAYHYPED.Mojo Rawley is here. @WWE #Battleground
