As noted, Vince McMahon will be at Sunday’s WWE Payback pay-per-view in Chicago to announce who will be running RAW – Shane McMahon or Stephanie McMahon and Triple H.
A source notes that the plan for this angle, going back to before WrestleMania 32, was for each side to have a show. No word yet on if they’re still going in this direction or who would get SmackDown, but this sounds like it goes along with the brand split reports we’ve been hearing.
We do know that Shane wants to stick around and that top WWE officials want him on TV.
